Hi There, I'm Nadine
It isn't about me; it is about you, but because chemistry between coach and client is incredibly important, I thought I would briefly introduce myself and tell you why I became a coach. If this then resonates with you, get in touch and you can tell me all about you.
I never had any health issues growing up, nor in my 20's and 30's. However, I have been ignoring the silent signs of my body as I constantly pushed myself beyond my limits in my personal and professional life. I always kept pushing because I thought people were expecting me to do so and partly because I was trying to prove to myself I could conquer anything, life was throwing at me. And there was a lot thrown at me....
After years of doing that, my body and mind decided 'enough was enough' and shut down. I had a burnout!
I was physically and emotionally drained, exhausted to the point that I could hardly function. A huge wake-up call. So, I quit my job and took some time out to re-evaluate my life and never looked back.
"If life has taught me one lesson, it is to never push beyond your limits, as you can’t pour from an empty cup."
I Know My 'Stuff'
Before deciding to train in the various health and wellbeing disciplines, I had worked as a multilingual marketing professional in Germany, Belgium and here in the UK.
I am now a qualified cognitive behavioural coach, a Level 2 iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation teacher and a Level 3 Personal Trainer. I am committed to continuous learning and remain ever fascinated by the human mind.
I am a member of the Association for Coaching and abide to their Global Code of Ethics.
I moved to Kenilworth, Warwickshire with my family 13 years ago and we have made this lovely town our home. I'm a foodie and travel enthusiast. I speak 5 languages and love exploring new countries and cultures and draw a lot of inspiration from it.
Today, I am excited and humbled to be able to share my knowledge, experience and passion for health and wellbeing with other people and to help them find their balance in life.
'Something close to my heart'
In addition to helping people find their balance through coaching, I also have a crafty business.
Equilibrium Lifestyle Products was born in 2020, during the first global COVID-19 lockdown. We design and make sustainable lifestyle products with love, attention to detail and respect for our planet.
It all started with using upholstery fabric remnants to create unique meditation cushions. Since then, it has grown into something really special, that I am super proud of. It represents all my values, passion and interests and complements everything I hope to achieve through my coaching. Living life in balance, with ourselves, the people around us, society and our beautiful planet.
